FAQ: Moonstone Fantasy Skirmish Game - Leshavult Expansion

How does the Backer Voted KS Exclusive Sculpt Process work?

When an alternate sculpt stretch goal is unlocked, backers will be invited to vote for the character they want to receive an alternate pose. Once a character from one box set has been chosen, other characters from that same box cannot be voted for.

The voting period will be 24hours from the time of the Update being published. We will then instruct our Artist to make an alternate pose sketch of the chosen character and as soon as we have two designs we are happy with (the original and one new one) we will publish a second update where backers will again vote - this time choosing which of the two options will be the Limited Edition supplied as part of the Kickstarter with the other becoming the retail edition.

Q. What if I don’t I prefer the retail edition? A. We will make the retail edition available to backers at minimum cost so that you can easily acquire both. If the chosen character happens to be from a ‘Standard’ Troupe Box (i.e. The End is Nigh, or a Witch in Time) rather than a Premium or Monster box, then we have decided to include both versions at no additional cost to backers!

What Scale are the Miniatures?

Moonstone is ‘32mm scale’ and is fully compatible with most other Fantasy miniature ranges and terrain.

Some other manufactures refer to this same scale by its older but now incorrect name of 28mm (which doesn’t take into account the scale creep that has occurred across the industry over the past 25 years).

In a nutshell, Moonstone will feel like a very familiar scale to you if you’ve played any kind of skirmish game before or games that describe themselves as ‘28mm scale’, in this regard our mini’s are no larger or smaller than the current average. How will the Leshavult Boxes be packaged?

For this campaign our Leshavult Miniatures will be boxed in plain packaging, this is to keep costs down, allowing us to pass savings on to our backers and also help us get the product out the door to you as quickly as possible. Older box sets from our existing ranges will be sent in full retail packaging.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
